Prager sent for trial
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter— Copyright) DONCASTER, March 26. Nicholas Anthony Prager, a former Royal Air Force sergeant, was committed for trial from Doncaster yesterday on charges of spying for Czechoslovakia and planning further espionage. Prager, aged 42, an electrical engineer of Czechoslovak parentage, was refused bail. The magistrates rejected a submission by the member of Parliament defending Prager (Mr Edward Lyons) that there was no case to answer on the charge of planning more espionage. The Court had been told that Prager photographed secret radar equipment when he was serving in the R.A.F. in 1961, and had later passed it to intelligence agents in Czechoslovakia.
