THE FORMER BISHOP OF KIMBERLEY, SOUTH AFRICA, the Rt Rev. E. Crowther, speaking in Christchurch Cathedral during the lunch-hour yesterday. Bishop Crowther was deported from South Africa on the order of the Minister of the Interior in June, 1967. He was recently appointed Assistant Bishop of California.
