This year’s president
This year’s president of the Malvern Agricultural and Pastoral Association is Mr T. E. Jenkins, of "Fairview.” Apart front his activities in the A. and P. Association, Mr Jenkins to secretary of the Sheffield School Committee, and secretary of the Sheffield Domain Board. His property is of 450 acres on the south bank of the Waimakariri River. He runs 600 ewes, of which 120 are Southdown, 100 |-bred stud, and the remainder fat lamb; and a Hereford stud of 12 cows. ’•Fairview” has 70 acres in wheat. 30-40 acres in grass seed, 40 acres in clover, and 7 acres in potatoes. Mr Jenkins took over the place from bis father two yean ago; it has been in the family since 1904.
