SHIRLEY JONES
One of the most successful new shows on American television, “The Partridge Family” which stars Shirley Jones, is 'due for release in New Zealand soon. There are five children and an amiable-looking dog in the family of the widowed Mrs Partridge, and the family overnight becomes famous for a recording it has made. The success of the television series has led to Partridge Family recordings which are high in the American charts. Sales of a first single “J Think I Love You” have reached 1,500,000 copies, and an album has been released.
