Ampol Ex. bids for A.O.G.

[ Ampol Exploration, Ltd, [will offer three of its shares plus 50c csjsh for every 10 fully paid stock units in Australian Oil and Gas Corporation, Ltd. Ampol Exploration will [also offer one share plus 40c icash for every eight contri[buting shares in A.O.G. paid Ito 30c and one share for [every 12 contributing shares lin A.O.G. paid to 20c. i The formal offer will be [sent to shareholders of the [Australian Oil and Gas Corporation in twol weeks time.
The offer by Ampol Exploration is commended to shareholders in A.O.G. as it will give acceptors of the offer shares in a dividendpaying company (A.O.G. suspended payment of dividends in 1969).
Acceptors will obtain an interest in the wider interests of Ampol Exploration including its one-seventh undivided interest in oil and gas production in Western Australia.
