Watt plans new party

(N.Z.P.A. -Reuter —Copyright) LONDON, March 24. Mr George Watt, the British engineer imprisoned for three years by the Chinese, returned to London yesterday from a visit to Hong Kong with plans to form an extreme Right-wing political party to fight communism.

Mr Watt, who is 38, was released by the Chinese last year after being imprisoned in Peking as “an imperialist British spy.” “I am not afraid of Chairman Mao or any of his minions or robots,” he said today. “I plan to go ahead straight away with the formation of the new party, but I cannot reveal at the moment who my supporters are.”

Mr Watt said that he had considerable financial backing and a wealth of support from people in all countries; his party would function in any country where there was communism.

“I believe that the man-in-tiie-street is absolutely fed up with the extreme Left-wing, which consists of the lazy, the freaks, and immature students,” fie said.

The headquarters of the] new party- will be at the China Spy Club, which Mr Watt has just onened in t ondon. “It will be a meeting place for extreme Rightwingers,” he said.
