BILL PASSED
(tiew Zealand Pres, Awodationt WELLINGTON, March 24. The Stabilisation of Remuneration Bill was passed through all its stages in Parliament tonight. After making slow progress through its committee, report and third reading stages, and with the Opposition moving amendments at frequent intervals, the bill survived its final Parliamentary test—the third reading—without a division being called.
The driver of this car, Mr H. J. Ward of 13 Phinket Street, Spreydon, was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital after he apparently collapsed behind the wheel and his car ran into a brick fence at the corner of Barrington Street and Lincoln Road about 2.30 p.m. yesterday.
Mr Ward was the only occupant of the car.
His condition was reported to be only fair last evening.
