Move from S.A.
(N.Z. Press Association) The South African light-weight joekey, Percy Cayeux, arrived in Perth on Tuesday vowing that he would not return to South Africa. Cayeux said: "I will not return to South Africa. Things must be better here than there.” He has migrated to Western Australia with his wife and son, and says he is prepared to resume his career as a jockey here if the opportunity arises. Cayeux, who has more than 800 winners to his credit, is also a professional pianist. He said that in 1966 his quintet became the first white resident band to play In a non-white club.
He said South Africa was facing a sorry future in intemational sport.
