Parliament’s diary
Two petitions were tabled yesterday. One, from Palmerston North, asked that 1 per cent of the gross national product should be devoted to external aid by 1973. An anti - Government notice of motion was filed by Mr J. L. Hunt (Lab., New Lynn). Ministers answered three questions. The Incorporated Societies Amendment Bill was introduced, received a second reading pro forma, and was referred to the Statutes Revision Committee.
The House then completed the committee stage of the Stabilisation of Remuneration Bill, and went on to debate the report stage.
