Thomson at Papanui
The former Southern Zone Rugby league second-row forward, A. W. Thompson, will resume playing for the Papanui club this season.
Thompson withdrew from all footfall mid-way through last season because he was not able to combine club and representative training with his employment The Papanui president (Mr D. J. Alsop) said last evening that Thompson had confirmed his intention to continue his association with the club and will be taking part in the trial match on Saturday.
