Display of capsule
(N.Z.P.A. Staff Correspondent) WASHINGTON, March 23. The. Gemini 12 space capsule in which Captain James A. Lovell and Major Edwin E. Aldrin circled the world for four days in November, 1966,- is being flown to New Zealand by the R.N.Z.A.F. for national display. The capsule will be the feature of a space exhibition arranged by Lions International of New Zealand.
It is expected to reach Auckland later this week. Arrangements for the loan of the spacecraft were made with the Department of Astronautics at the Smithsonian Instiution.
