J. Townley, yesterday entered the mare for the Tornado Stakes on April 2. the Free-For-All on April 8 and the Lord Mayor’s Cup on April 16. But Townley said last night he had been trying to book passage for Stella Frost on the freighter Maheno. The shipping agents had told him they could not take Stella Frost unless another five horses were available to make the trip to New Zealand. Last night only four horses had been booked for the passage.
