Man no longer being sought
(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, March 22. The Hamilton C. 1.8. has ended its inquiry into an assault on a taxi driver at Meremere after the discovery of a man’s body oh Thursday. Mercer police found the body in a farm house. A Hamilton C. 1.8. spokesman said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
They were no longer seeking a man in connection with the assault of a Wanganui taxi driver, Mr D. Hoskins, on March 15, the spokesman added.
