Motor-cycle accident

Two persons, one seriously ill, are in the Christchurch Hospital as a result of a collision between a motor-cycle and a car towing a boat trailer at the comer of Pages Road and Shortland Street about 4 p.m. on Saturday. Peter Roger Snow, of Port Hills Road, a pillion passenger on the motor-cycle, is in the intensive care unit with head and leg injuries. His condition last night was described as serious.

The motor-cycle driver, Paul Simmons, also of Port Hills Road, suffered similar injuries and his condition was given as satisfactory.
