President’s second term
This year Mr R. D. Middleton completes his second and final year as
president of the Kaikoura Agricultural and Pastoral Association. Mr Middleton is well known for his interest in community affairs. He is an executive member of tiie Ohau Rabbit Board and the Clarence Bridge School Committee. His activities also include membership of the Kaikoura search and rescue unit. He has been a member of the Kaikoura A. and P. Association for more than 30 years, following service in the same capacity by his farther. Mr Middleton farms 8800 acres of river flats and hill country under 4000 ft in the Clarence Valley. He runs Corriedale sheep and Hereford cattle. “We have a strong team of willing workers, keen to make this show an enjoyable and successful gathering of many friends,” said Mr Middleton.
