<N.Z. Trert Assn.—Copyright! HOBART. The touring South African life-saving team, due to compete at Waimairi on Sunday, won all but one event at a twilight surfing carnival at Clifton Beach, 20 miles from Sydney. Despite losing the surf boat race, the South Africans demonstrated all-round ability against three local surf clubs.
