High local content
The Australian content of the six-cylinder Chrysler Valiants is now more than 99 per cent, the Australian company says. The only imported parts are instrument panels, door locks and keys, some electrical connections, and the timing chain, hydraulic tappets and valve spring retainers in the engine.
