EPSTEIN SCULPTURE IN CHRISTCHURCH.—A recent valuable addition to the McDougall Art Gallery is this bronze head, by Sir Jacob Epstein, of Marshal of the Royal Air Force Viscount Portal of Hungerford. The sculpture, which will be placed on public exhibition soon, has been lent to the gallery by Miss Maureen Raymond, of Auckland. Miss Raymond had previously presented a number of other important art. works to Christchurch which are on exhibition in the gallery.
