Addington inquiries
W. E. Lowe, the driver of Pun in the Second Pacing Championship Heat at Addington on Saturday night, had Ills horseman’s licence suspended until February 27 for careless driving. D. D. Nyhan, the driver of Robalan in the First Championship Pace Heat, and I. W. Dickie, the driver of Inferno in the Second Championship Trotting Heat, were warned to take more care tn their driving or action would be taken against them. After the First Trotting Championship Heat an inquiry was held into the breaking of Going and Le Char with approximately two furlongs to run. After hearing W. Doyle (Going), G. Shand (Le Char) and W. Butt (Johnny Gee) and viewing a film of the race, it was decided to take no further action.
