FIRE IN SHED
Fire slightly damaged a small woodshed and 12ft of wooden fence yesterday afternoon. The shed, at 28 Sugden Street, Spreydon, caught alight at about 4.50 p.m. but firemen from the Christchurch Central and Spreydon stations, using one hose reel, prevented the blaze causing any major damage. The cause of the fire is not known.
