OBITUARY
Miss J. Cleland (from Out Own Reporter) TIMARU, Feb. 8. Miss Jessie Rutherford Cleland, the third daughter of the late Mr and Mrs A. Cleland, of Newburgh,Sutherlands, died last week. She was 55. Miss Cleland was educated at Totara Valley and Timaru Girls’ High Schools. For almost 16 years she was matron at the Presbyterian Social Service Association’s children’s family home in North Street, Timaru.
