Design award for plumbers
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 7. The New Zealand Society of Master Plumbers will present the first gold seal superior design award at its Palmerston North conference on February 22. The president of the society (Mr T. C. Timmins) described the award as an important way of recognising high design and performance standards in plumbing ware and promoting such standards. The award is open only to manufacturers who produce articles in New Zealand, and the winning company has the right to identify the product so the gold seal can be a guide to the public and trade, Mr Timmins said.
