AWAY WITH THEM.—The singer, Samantha Jones, who used to smoke 35 cigarettes a day, gets rid of her last packet. Her manager (Mr Larry Page) has put a clause in her contract that will cost her $2OOO every time she lights a cigarette. Mr Page acted on the advice of medical specialists who had warned Miss Jones that her voice was being affected by tobacco smoke.
