COLONEL R. W. K. AINGE, of Christchurch, who has been appointed chief of staff at the headquarters of the Army’s Home Command, Wellington. He recently returned from two years in Singapore as commander of the New Zealand Army Force, Far East. In 1964 he was the commander of the Christchurch Army' Area and commanding officer of the 2nd Battalion, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment.
