Glass panels will provide interior light The roof will be slate. Messrs Atkinson and Forbes, Ltd, of Christchurch, are the contractors and the cost of the work will be about 1150,000. The extensions are designed by the Architects, Engineers, Partnership, of Dunedin. The Cathedral is closed during alterations.
