Slow inquiry for lamb Smithfield trading proceeded steadily throughout the week with a rather slow inquiry for New Zealand lamb; the main grade of lamb (29/361b) realised 32d. to 33d, the Meat Board reports. Small quantities of New Zealand mutton sold slowly. ;The main grade of hogget (49 to 561 b) was quoted at 20 to 2ld, the main grade !of wether (49 to 561 b) at 17 Ito 191 d, and prime ewes (49 Ito 561 b) at 151 to 16Jd.
