Daryl’s Joy back on winning note

The New Zealand horse, Daryl’s Joy, made a winning come-back on Thursday in the 5U544.000 Arcadia Handicap at Santa Anita, United Press International reported. Daryl’s Joy, in his first race since October, carried 9-0 and won by half a length from Magic Hope 11, with Belisco third. J. Sellers rode the five-year-old confidently. He let
Daryl’s Joy settle back in the field then moved him up on the final tum to take the lead and win with plenty in hand. Victory in the lOf event was worth $NZ23,200. Daryl’s Joy started favourite In spite of his long absence from the track. He had not raced since last October when he scored his biggest United States win in the SUSIOO,OOO Oak Tree Stakes at Santa Anita.
