Garage on fire
Fire badly damaged a 1957 saloon car and a concrete block garage in Hornby yesterday morning. Fire broke out to the garage of Mr W- J- Kirkwood, of 52 Neill Street, about 9 a.m., and quickly spread to his car. Firemen from the Sockburn and Harewood fire stations were called out and brought the blaze under control.
