Hashish haul
Narcotic agents have seized the largest shipment of hashish ever confiscated by police tn the United States and arrested alleged members of a major drug-smuggling ring, a United States attorney, Mr Edward Neaher, said yesterday. Mr Neaher told a Federal Court that agents found 600 pounds of hashish valued at sl.sm concealed in a panel truck fitted out as a camper and parked in front of the alleged leader’s home in a New York suburb. Four men were arrested.—New York, February 4.
