W.R.A.C. LEADER
Parade at Burnham (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The director of the British Women’s Royal Army Corps (Brigadier F- A. E. Heaney) is in New Zealand this week, visiting Army establishments. Tonight she will arrive in Wellington from Auckland, and will meet senior Defence Department officials tomorrow. Brigadier Heaney will fly to Christchurch on Friday to attend a passing-out parade at Burnham of girls who have completed a three-week W.R.A.C. recruit course. She dieparts from Christchurch for Australia on Monday, February 8.
