The magnificent new head office of the Western Co-Operative Building Society at Wanganui. The Society commenced 26 years ago and operates throughout New Zealand. The building which has a total area of 34,860 sq. ft., was officially opened yesterday by the Right Honourable, The Prime Minister, Sir Keith Holyoake.
