Pollution risk at Lake Ida
The possible pollution ot Lake Ida by winter sports visitors would be checked by the county health inspector (Mr V. M. Chailies) soon, the Malvern County Council was told yesterday. The County Clerk (Mr B. W. Perrin) said that Mr Chailies had discussed' the position with the winter sports club. It had been thought that as a new building was to be erected, changes in sanitary drainage should be made then, but that was not yet possible. Mr Challies would visit the lake with club officials.
“I hope they get on with It. Time is marching on and the work would need to be done before the frosts,” said Cr V. N. Murchison.
