Staff decimated
The managers of a newsprint mill in Khulna, East Pakistan have blamed maneating tigers for a slump in log production. They said that the tigers had killed seven loggers in the last two months. The men work in the swampy forest of Suderbans, near the Bay of Bengal, where tigers have killed 24 persons and mauled ten since November.—Khulna, February 5.
