Turner in a hurry
The New Zealand opening batsman, G. M. Turner, will not have much time to pack his bags at the end of the season. Immediately after the second test in Auckland against England, Turner will fly to Kuwait where he will join an Invitation team, including many of his Worcestershire team-mates. He will leave New Zealand on March 10, but because of gaining eight hours, will arrive in Kuwait at 1.30 a.m. on March 11. The first I match of the brief tour— two [one-day games—starts at 10 a.m.
