Stanmore road pie shops
A delicatessen at 345 Stanmore Road and a cake shop in the same road near Alexandra Street found that their sales of pies declined after a pie manufacturer at 330 Stanmore Road was prosecuted in the Magistrate's Court recently because of dirty premises and equipment. Both shops were concerned yesterday that trade could drop again if the public did not realise that they were in no way connected with the manufacturer, also registered as a delicatessen who has had his licence cancelled by the City Council.
