Rarotonga to have liquor
(N.Z. Press Association)
RAROTONGA, Dec. 6. The Cook Islands Legislative Assembly has unanimously approved the establishing of a liquor licensing authority on Rarotonga. The authority will hear applications and grant licences. Under present legislation the people or Rarotonga are denied the opportunity to join tourists in licensed premises.
