Driver dies
A man. was killed when the car he was driving ran off the road in heavy rain at Bunny Flat, about eight miles east of the Lewis Pass, at 7 p.m. on Sunday. He was Dale James Martin, aged 22, of Christchurch, formerly of Westport, an employee of Aulsebrooks, Ltd. He was the only occupant of the car.
