Film appeal disallowed
An appeal brought by , Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (N.Z.), ’ Ltd, against the refusal of . the Film Censor to approve the film “My Lover, My Son” , for exhibition has been dis--1 allowed by the Cinematograph Films Censorship Board of Appeal. The board considered that ■ the exhibition of the film ■ would be contrary to public decency and undesirable in the public interest. The board consisted of Mr D. J. Sullivan, S.M. (acting , chairman), Mr W. N. Sheat 1 and Miss M. J. Clark.
