Postponement plea
The Victoria (British Columbia) Law Income Group has written to the Queen asking her to postpone the Royal Family’s visit to their country, due to take place next year, until it is in a more favourable financial position. President Olszewski has said that the visit might cost British Columbia close to SCAN 250,000, which could otherwise go towards easing the suffering of the poor.—Victoria, November 20.
