Remand on two charges
(N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE, Nov. 23. A remand for two weeks, until December 7, under section 47A of the Criminal Justice Act was granted a man who appeared in the Gisborne Magistrate’s Court today on charges of rape and indecent assault. The accused is an Australian man, Michael George Gardner, aged 27, a plant operator, of Wairoa. No pleas wptp talepn Mr W. M. Willis, S.M., was on the Bench.
