Marching championships
Skellerup Militaires emerged as the best team when the Christchurch marching championships were held at the Dunsandel Domain on Sunday. Results were:— Senior A.—Champion team: Skellerup Militaires; runner-up, Philips Hi-Z. Champion leader: McCormettes. Display: Skellerup Militaires. Fall-in and inspection: Skellerup Militaires. Senior B.—Champion team: Farrier-W aimak; runner-up, Snowliners. Champion leader: Farrier-W aimak. Display: Far-rier-Waimak. Fall-in and inspection: Farrier-Waimak. Junior A.—Champion team: Motorways Royal Guards; run-ner-up, Modem Age. Champion leader: Motorways Royal Guards. Display: Motorways Royal Guards. Fall-in and inspection: Motorways Royal Guards.
