Meat exports
Sir, —In these trying times for the farming community, the backbone of our country, it does one good to read of the Russian meat purchase. One good turn deserves another, so I only hope those responsible will see that Russia gets some consideration. We could at least give the Soviet a token import order. Look to it. Federated Farmers, as the early bird catches the worm.—Yours, etc., MONA STRACHAN. Ashburton, November 23, 1970.
