Mitsubishi plans local assembly

The Mitsubishi Motor Corporation said on Friday that it planned to assemble its “Colt” passenger cars in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa from next year, using the Chrysler Corporation’s assembly-lines. The cars would be sold under Chrysler brand, “Dodge Colt” Chrysler is scheduled to market the “Dodge Colt” in the United States early next year.
