Appeal fails
(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, Nov. 22. An appeal by Eric Arthur Robinson, of Christchurch (Mr J. R. Fox), against the granting of a mineral prospecting warrant to Neil McVicar and Tasman Rangi Hogg, both of Christchurch (Mr J. W. Hannan) has been dismissed by Mr Justice Perry in the Supreme Court at. Greymouth. Messrs McVicar and Hogg applied in April this year tor a warrant over an area near Waiuta. The appellant, who held an expired ordinary prospecting licence over the same area, opposed the granting of the application on the grounds that the respondents had breached the regulations in relation to an adjoining area held by them, that they could not do justice to additional areas and any extra area granted to them would discourage genuine prospecting and deter development.
