Bungalow sold for $7650
A three-bedroom bungalow on 21.6 perches in Charteris< Bay was sold with an adjoining section of 22.1 perches for $7650 at auction on Saturday. The Government valuation on the property was $5200 and bidding by the 30 persons present was keen. It opened at $6OOO, and quickly rose to $6500 by four bids of $lOO and two of $5O. The sale was completed by two bids of $lO and six of $5. The auctioneer was Mr L. B. Prendeville, of L. B. Prendeville, Ltd.
