Lister at a public aution at the Timaru Racecourse on Saturday. Lister’s Jersey fetched $8 but that of Ellis brought $23. The auction, one of the largest held in the South Island, attracted about 3000. The sale realised about $2OOO towards the Timaru sports stadium.
