Holy Hal improving
■ "The Press" Special Service INVERCARGILL There Is every chance that Holy Hal will contest the $26,500 Auckland Trotting Cup at Alexandra Park next month. The Mataura trainer, D. Todd, is satisfied with the progress Holy Hal is making in a fresh campaign. “I am taking him along quietly, and he is doing fine,” he eaid yesterday. “I haven’t hobbled him up that many times, but he’s done everything asked of him." Holy Hal has been entered for the Longwood Handicap at the Riverton Trotting Club's annual equalisator meeting at Invercargill on December s—an event he won at the start of his four-year-old campaign.
