N.Z. SENDING PROTEST
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association was “very concerned" that the first it knew of South Africa’s suspension from the international federation was in the newspapers, the annual meeting was told yesterday. The association chairman (Mr C. A. Blazey) said a protest had been sent the LA. A.F.
“If one country can be suspended like this, then any other country could also be suspended without our knowing,” he added.
