Taiwan potential
Taiwan would be able to launch a satellite with the co-operation of countries advanced in space science, according to an Americantrained scientist, Dr Chiu Wei-yao. In Taipei on a home visit he spoke to the Legislative Yuan (Parliament) yesterday, at the invitation of Mr Ho Chiu-yuan, who recently urged his Government to develop simple satellites for national prestige. Dr Chiu is a senior research scientist with the National Aeronautics and Space Agency in Houston, Texas.— Taipei, Nov. 20,
