Obituary MR G. WHITCOMBE
"The Press’’ Special Service DUNEDIN, Nov. 20. Mr G. D. H. Whitcombe, grandson of the founder of Whitcombe and Tombs, Ltd, has died in Dunedin. He was 59. Mr Whitcombe was branch manager of Whitcombe and Tombs, Ltd, in Dunedin. He also served with the company in Australia, Wellington, Auckland, Hamilton and Timaru. _ , Educated at Christs College, Mr Whitcombe was prominent in sports, particularly in Australia. His mam sporting interests were golf and tennis. Mr Whitcombe is survived by his wife.
Justices Appointed.—Mrs Z. B. Corskie, of Blenheim, and R. A. Godfrey, of Kqwhitirangi, have been appointed Justices of the Peace.
